Check for current rain fall at the Bureau of Meteorology. Black Duck Valley is about 15 km South and 105 km West of the map origin.

Directions to Black Duck Valley   Travel West following Toowoomba signs towards Gatton. Go to Gatton. In Gatton, turn left at the second set of lights. Approximately 1 km out take the Mt Sylvia turnoff and follow the Glenrock Regional Park Signs. Travel South approximately 40km, always following the Glenrock Regional Park Signs. Turn Right into Brown's Road at the Black Duck Valley sign. GPS coordinates, S 27  50.093'  E 152 12.380'. When using mapping services online or otherwise. Use "East Haldon Road, Junction View" as "East Haldon" alone may produce bad results (e.g. Whereis.com will take you to a location more than 1 hours drive from BDV). Do not use Hirstglen Road as it does not lead to Black Duck Valley.
