One of the best 4x4 parks we’ve experienced in Queensland! We recently spent a weekend at Black Duck Valley 4x4 and it was absolutely epic from start to finish. The moment you arrive, you’re greeted with stunning valley views and a sense of freedom that only wide-open country can give you. The off-road tracks here are top-tier. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned 4WD enthusiast, there’s something for everyone. We tested our rig on the intermediate and advanced trails—rocky climbs, steep hill tracks, mud, and technical challenges that really pushed our setup. The adrenaline rush is real, but so is the fun! The camping facilities are excellent too. Clean flushing toilets and hot showers were a welcome surprise, especially after a full day of driving. There’s also a well-equipped kiosk, picnic shelters, and powered sites available. We stayed at an unpowered site—flat, quiet, and had plenty of space around us. Special shoutout to the friendly staff who made everything smooth. They clearly care about maintaining the park and supporting the 4x4 community. What really stood out was how family-friendly the place is. Plenty of open space for the kids to play, and even junior tracks to let the younger ones get involved safely. It’s pet-friendly too, which was a bonus! If you’re planning a group trip, they also have a large function shelter which looked perfect for events and club meets. Tips: • Bring recovery gear—some trails get gnarly fast! • Fill up fuel before arriving (last servo is around Gatton). • Book ahead if you’re planning to come on a weekend—it does get busy with clubs. Overall, Black Duck Valley is a must-visit for any off-road lover. Incredible tracks, beautiful scenery, and a great mix of challenge and chill. We’ll definitely be back soon—next time with an even bigger group! — ✅ Trails: 10/10 ✅ Facilities: 9/10 ✅ Family-Friendly: 10/10 ✅ Value for Money: 10/10 📍 Location: 15 Browns Rd, East Haldon QLD 🚙 $30 entry per vehicle | $15–$20 camping per person 🔥 BYO firewood or purchase onsite

Was my first time taking my new car to a 4x4 park, have only done beach driving so was a bit nervous! But the tracks are marked and really easy to follow, we did all the yellow and orange ones, then put a few scratches in doing some red tracks but that’s what it’s all about! Staff at reception were super friendly and gave us some free stickers and explained everything really well! Will be back for sure! Overall had a great day out there!

Awesome tracks. Amazing owners and management team. And they hold a heap of events year round. 10/10
